Jesse hails from New York state and has built a reputation for his earnest vocals and emotional depth. Before Wishful Thinker, he co-fronted the rock band An Artist’s Depiction, releasing their debut LP The Confidence Trap in 2018. He also self-produced numerous DIY releases under the name The Star-Reacher Syndicate, showcasing his versatility across genres.

Partnering with Plaid Dog Recording in Waltham, MA, Bloodgood released Wishful Thinker in February 2026 as his solo studio debut. This EP marks a significant step in his career, highlighting his growth as a songwriter and performer within the Indie Rock scene.
